Kickboxing Self Training Zone
Tapout Fitness has an amazing class calendar with tons of boxing/kickboxing/martial arts instruction. But what if you don’t want or need to attend the classes? Tapout Fitness Woodstock has tons of bag stations in the 24 hour gym area to accommodate members who are not involved with the group fitness program. In addition, every member at Tapout Fitness gets to attend our beginner boxing/kickboxing orientation class, so you can learn just enough to come in to the 24 hour fitness center and integrate those bag stations into a general workout routine effectively!
HOW MANY BAGS DOES TAPOUT FITNESS WOODSTOCK HAVE?
Tapout Fitness Woodstock has about 2 dozen different bag and striking training stations
WHAT KIND OF BAGS DO YOU HAVE?
Everything. We have speed bags, Thai kick bags, heavy bags, punching bags, mushroom bags, double end bags, figure eight double ends, uppercut bags, punching mannequins, free standing punching sticks, a 19X19 boxing ring, and more
IF I DON’T HAVE A GROUP FITNESS MEMBERSHIP CAN I STILL USE ALL THE BAGS AND BOXING RING?
Absolutely. The entire facility is open to all members regardless of membership type. As a basic fitness member you can use all the kickboxing/boxing training stations, including the ones in the group fitness zone (so long as a class is not actively using the stations) and the boxing ring.
CAN ME AND ANOTHER MEMBER TRAIN EACH OTHER/WITH EACH OTHER?
Yes. We have numerous stations in the 24 hour gym including a cage, double end bags, Thai kick bags, and punching bags.
I LOVE THE IDEA INTEGRATING KICKBOXING/BOXING INTO MY WORKOUT, BUT DON’T KNOW HOW TO THROW ANY PUNCHES OR KICKS, AND I JUST HAVE A BASIC FITNESS MEMBERSHIP. WILL TAPOUT FITNESS WOODSTOCK STILL SHOW ME HOW TO USE THE SELF TRAINING STATIONS WITHOUT PAYING EXTRA?
Of course. Every new member at Tapout Fitness Woodstock get access to the boxing/kickboxing orientation class, which will teach you how to wrap your hands and use the wrap roller machines to re-wrap them after you’re done working out, boxing stance, basic punches and kicks, a couple of baseline combinations like the one/two, how to use the different bags and what they are for, help integrating a basic boxing or kickboxing workout into a weight loss or general fitness regimen. If you ever have any questions beyond that orientation class, the expert Tapout Fitness staff stands ready to assist you. We love nothing more than seeing someone gain real enjoyment and results from boxing and kickboxing based workouts, so we’re always ready to help!
